Lately we’ve been ranting about just how mediocre, tiresome and uninspiring Vogue Russia‘s covers have become — and it appears that the once-loved title has been listening. For the newly-unveiled June 2015 edition, Alexi Lubomirski has turned up the heat with Aussie model Catherine McNeil, who poses poolside wearing a skimpy black swimsuit and hair coiffed into perfection, complete with a stunning makeup look for extra drama.

Make no mistake our forum members have shown interest. “Catherine looks ravishing! One of the strongest Vogue Russia covers I’ve seen in a long time,” AL92 proclaimed within seconds of the cover being posted.
“Best Russian Vogue cover in recent times,” agreed tigerrogue.
“Is this an original cover? Well done, Vogue Russia! The image is very sultry, I like it,” kokobombon admired.
Miss Dalloway used the word “gorgeous” to describe the cover and MON agreed, saying, “I was preparing myself to be disappointed but wow!! This is probably the visually and aesthetically strongest cover Vogue Russia has done in a while. It’s indeed fashion and very worthy for Vogue! Catherine is undeniably beautiful and that body is amazing!”
TeeVanity was quick to show enthusiasm and hailed, “This cover is everything.”
Also showing the cover some admiration was madzedre: “Amazing, the colors pop so much.”
“Lovely!! I am not her biggest fan but this is great,” gossiping noted.
