Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Vogue Japan Cover Is ‘Embarrassing’ (Forum Buzz)

She’s currently starring in Max Mad: Fury Road but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s latest modelling gig involves gracing the cover of Vogue Japan. A refreshing choice for the magazine, it’s Rosie’s first appearance, which is why we’re a bit disappointed with the lackluster outcome. Lensed by Giampaolo Sgura, the Brit beauty sports a Bottega Veneta bodysuit for the title’s health and beauty issue and unfortunately ends up looking lifeless and over-airbrushed.

Forum members began to rant almost immediately. “Embarrassing. No other words,” expressed gazebo.

“The image is too bland for a cover and the layout too overpowering IMO. Rosie on the cover is surprising, is this her first VJ cover? I would never associate her with VJ,” kokobombon added.

In agreement was Oxymore: “That’s so bad. I don’t feel like Rosie fits Vogue Japan tbh.”

Moofins wasn’t showing the cover much enthusiasm either. “The pose is atrocious and her face looks plastic. Nah, no thanks. Nothing about this cover feels natural,” she complained.

“NO NO NO and looks incredibly Photoshopped,” declared Nomar.

Jabs soon came in for Sgura. “I think much of the blame here falls on Sgura’s shoulders. I have yet to see even one amazing, well composed, or fashion-forward cover image shot by him regardless of the model. How has he managed (and who does he know) to be a Vogue go-to cover photographer?” questioned zoom.

Starry announced, “The main problem they have to deal with is getting rid of Sgura from this magazine.”
