The Fall 2014 campaigns may still be fresh in our minds, but the ads for the Resort 2015 collections are now starting to roll out. Gucci‘s campaign is the first, as the brand released its full Resort campaign via Facebook, and to our amazement, we are impressed! Sticking with photographic duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to lens the images, Gucci switched up the cast this time around by tapping a handful of fresh new faces to showcase its latest collection. The new Gucci girls include Alisa Ahmann, Aneta Pajak, Julia Bergshoeff and Julia Banas, who all pose in a dark lit studio wearing tropical-inspired pieces and clutching luxurious leather goods.

Members of our forums just cannot stop expressing who their favorite is. “Happy for Alisa! She deserves it. Hopefully it is the right remedy for her messed up S/S runway season. The styling on the other hand is not so classy,” commented VERNIQUE.
“Alisa and Julia B are killer in this campaign. Alisa is so magical in print,” shared jacquelineo, impressed with the ads thus far.
“Alisa looks so powerful in Gucci! Julia Bergshoeff is so sexy. Unexpected that Aneta and Julia Banas are good too,” wrote mikose.
HeatherAnne cheered on her favorites: “There’s no stopping Julia Bergshoeff or Ben Allen, they’re going to be around this industry for a long while!”
“This is absolutely gorgeous, even though it’s strange to see a cast of entirely new girls in a Gucci campaign who is usually so loyal to their favorite vets, each girl’s shot works, especially Julia’s,” enthused a satisfied Greenway.
A few of our forum members aren’t left overwhelmed, though. “Wow, looks like Gucci is ready to turn a page. When was the last time their campaign featured only new girls? The cast at their last show was pretty new too. I don’t know how I feel about that,” posted MyNameIs, who went on to say, “But I actually think everyone looks great here. I do agree that the styling is questionable.”
