NARS Cosmetics' Hannah Murray said that this season's Helmut Lang beauty look was very much inspired by the cast — a good chunk of which was blonde and blue-eyed. Murray told us that those features go very well with a NARS lipstick launching in the fall called Deborah Audacious. Interestingly, the beauty pro used the reddish-brown lip shade not for lips, which were muted with stick concealer, but rather on the eyelids. She then diffused the shade with a bit of bronzer, which also worked double duty to set the color.

"The Helmut Girl this season is tough and masculine," said Murray. "But we also want her to look beautiful, so we created a flawless base with the skin for a refined polish. We didn't put anything on the brows, didn't use any mascara and we only applied a touch of NARS Orgasm blush on the models' cheeks."
