The Scene: Caitlin FitzGerald, Taylor Schilling and Nora Zehetner were among those that sat front row at the designer's show.

The Inspiration: An iridescent strip of silk taffeta the designer spotted in Paris.

The Look: Below-the-knee skirts, floral prints, slim suiting, cropped capes, puffer jackets and funnel-neck ribbed scarves. As for the designer's color palette, it was a good mix of black, winter brights and prints.

The Accessories: Chunky-heeled booties, many of which were done in animal skin.

The Beauty: Hair was inspired by the idea of "gym chic," meaning it was worn down and looked slightly wet. As for makeup, it was muted with a matte lip.

The Takeaway: Not the designer's most remarkable collection, but his capes and scarves will make wonderful layering pieces come next year's cold temperatures.
