Hudson’s Bay Unveils the Team Canada 2015 Uniforms in Time for the Pan Am Games — and They Are Super Stylish

Canada’s iconic retailer Hudson’s Bay unveiled the official Team Canada Collection for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan American Games happening this summer.

Fourteen athletes, including Sergio Pessoa (Judo), Michelle Li (Badminton), rugby player Bianca Farella and 11 other athletes competing in every sport from trampoline to swimming to field hockey and wheelchair basketball took to the stage at the Glenn Gould Studio on Front Street to give media and Olympic fans a look at the uniforms Team Canada will wear during the Pan Am Games.

During the Pan Am Games (July 10 through July 26) and the Parapan American Games (August 7 through August 15), the world’s top athletes from the Americas and the Caribbean will compete at more than 30 venues located in 16 municipalities across Southern Ontario. More than 7,600 of them will compete for the global stage.

Inspired by the 50-year anniversary of the Canadian flag, Hudson’s Bay’s internal team of innovative and creative designers used the maple leaf as the starting point for the graphics showcased throughout the collection. The 22-piece collection was inspired by varsity sport and of-the-moment athleisure wear that’s trending right now.
