The Inspiration: "Philippe Garrel’s film La Cicatrice intérieure, which recounts a mystical, esoteric and celestial trip of initiation," the designer revealed pre-show to Yahoo.

The Look: Bruno's collection was all about the details. The designer showed a series of basic separates and dresses done in black, white and gray along with a few bolder colors and prints, but each piece had a detail — whether shearling pockets or a zipper down the top — that elevated it from your everyday basic. Among the standouts were dresses with oversized shearling pockets, a dress with a pleated, ballerina-like skirt, paneled jackets, slip dresses, bomber jackets, oversized sweaters with rounded arms, fur-accented bombers and zipper-accented dresses.

The Accessories: Pointed flats and rectangular handbags.

The Beauty: Nude shadow, rosy cheeks, a clean face and center-parted, straight hair casually worn down.

The Takeaway: Bruno nails it by delivering closet staples with unique twists.
