Budding actress Cara Delevingne has a lot to be confident about in her burgeoning acting career. She will appear in next year’s summer blockbuster Suicide Squad alongside stars like Jared Leto and Will Smith, she has a role in the forthcoming Pan movie and she just snagged a part in 2017’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. But even though Delevingne is achieving early success in Hollywood, she does get a little jittery about her acting career. After all, she is one of the world’s most in-demand models and the stigma of a model-turned-actress is still a thing.

Delevingne admitted that she was quite nervous to read for her role in Paper Towns and credits her co-star Nat Wolff with helping her score the big gig. “The reason I actually got the role was probably because of Nat Wolff. He’s honestly the best actor I’ve ever worked with,” she told Teen Vogue. “I didn’t think I was going to get it. I was so scared, and he gave me the ability to do it. He gave me everything! Because when you have someone else who is so real and so amazing and they have truth in their eyes…he was crying so how could I not cry? And then, when we did the first table read, we all kind of looked at each other and were like, ‘This is going to be so great.'”

We’re juiced to see Cara in her first major lead role and her onscreen chemistry with Wolff. July 24 –when the film officially hits theaters – can’t come soon enough.
