Ashish Spring 2014: A Glittering Take on Middle Eastern Fashion

Very few people could or would want to pull off any of the looks on the Ashish runway as they were styled. Taken apart, however, there were a number of pieces that would work to make a bold statement, if mixed in with clean-cut neutrals, without leaving the wearer looking like a clown.

Case in point, a glittering deep V-neck leopard top, striped separates, glittering Coca-Cola emblazoned tops, sparkling plaid pieces and glistening jogging pants. Why all the shine? The collection was inspired by a glamorous walk of shame through the Dubai Mall, which also explains the letters printed on some of the pieces and some of the Middle Eastern-inspired shapeless cuts (see a sheer black Coca-Cola printed dress).
